Harald has a masters degree from University of Valley Forge where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in digital media production. He also graduated Summa Cum Laude from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, USA with a bachelor degree in professional music. Upon returning to the Philippines, he reunited with old band mates in the national pop/rock group, Shamrock. The group has recorded 5 albums and 3 EPs to date with Universal Records, Viva Records and Star Music, and most recently with Bellhaus Entertainment. Shamrock has had numerous national hits spanning from 2006 to present. In 2006, Harald joined the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music as a faculty for Jazz Studies. He then helped the conservatory design the first drumset degree in the Philippines under the jazz studies program. Today, Harald continues as a faculty member at the conservatory guiding drummers and is also heavily involved in the rapidly growing music technology program at the school.

In 2008, Harald joined his brother Toby in forming gloryfall which is a Christian worship group. They have recorded 12 albums to date and are active performing in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. gloryfall is active in training local churches and worship teams, to help them reach the next step in their musical and spiritual development serving the church.

Harald is also an active clinician conducting drum clinics, workshops and master classes throughout the Philippines. He also accepts private students in the Manila area.

Harald says, “Even in Berklee I was interested in other facets of music beyond drumming. I had a lot of friends in the production and engineering program and was able to pick up a lot from them.” In 2008, Harald began working as a recording, mixing and mastering engineer. The journey took the next step as TrueSound, a recording studio launched with his brother, opened its doors. In 2012, Harald completed Avid Pro Tools Expert Certification. Since 2013, TrueSound has been the sole training partner for Avid in the Philippines, with Harald conducting the training as an Avid Certified Instructor.
